Les Arts Florissants - William Christie

William Christie is a well-respected performer in the baroque music world. He is a pioneer and point of reference in the rediscovery and rapprochement of French baroque to the wider public and will return next Summer at the expressed will of the Festival. In leading the legendary instrumental and vocal group Les Arts Florissants, they will perform a unique program of motets in the Carme Church which will include the participation of the prestigious tenor Reinoud van Mecheclen interpreting works of Campra, Couperin and Charpentier. This will be an unmissable occasion for lovers of exquisite baroque.

The fourteenth-century Carmen Church is the venue for recitals, chamber concerts and small-format operas, with seating for around 240 people.
