"The world's greatest tenor" – to describe Kaufmann's talent and career, superlatives are hardly enough. His irresistibly beautiful voice captivates with power, passion, and temperament. Since his debut at the Metropolitan Opera New York in 2006 in La Traviata, Jonas Kaufmann has been one of the top soloists in classical music. The magazine Opera News wrote about the tenorissimo: "His intensity and elegance, the smoothness of his voice and body language, combined with his musicianship and radiant appearance, make him the epitome of the opera star in the 21st century."

Kaufmann delights with his incomparable elegance, effortlessly shifting into the highest registers while always sounding warm, dark, and captivating. The star tenor is at home in the most diverse genres. He is in demand internationally in both Italian and French repertoires as much as in German. Jonas Kaufmann masters the entire scale of the tenor repertoire and places great value on versatility and flexibility: vocally, stylistically, and linguistically.

Together with the outstanding American soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen, Jonas Kaufmann presents a dreamy opera gala with the most beautiful arias and duets by, among others, Puccini, Leoncavallo, Strauss, and Lehár, accompanied by the Hofer Symphoniker under the direction of Jochen Rieder.
